PRESENTATION OF INFORSE GROUP

 

The group INFORSE (Innovation in Rail, Road Safety and Ergonomics), University of Valencia, led by Dr. Francisco Toledo, is a multidisciplinary team of teachers, psychologists, engineers, and methodologists, with the main objective to promote and develop innovative research and quality in the field of safety in road and rail transport from the point of view of technical and human factors.

Among its key objectives is:

  • Contribute to the scientific-technical and supporting R & D + national and international level through participation in research plans and cooperation with companies in the private sphere.
  • Stimulate interdisciplinary cooperation in the field of management of transport safety.
  • Encourage the transfer of research results to professional activity.
  • Disseminate the results of R & D so that companies and institutions to incorporate scientific advances generated products, processes and services.
  • Contribute to the training of researchers able to contribute new knowledge to the scientific community and society.
  • Offer training programs "ad-hoc" in the field of security and prevention of accidents and rail traffic.

 

PRESENTATION OF UNIVERSITY OF VALENCIA

 

Founded in Valencia in 1499 by the Jury of the city and recognized papal bull in 1501, initially dedicated to the study of medicine, humanities, theology and law.
Today is a modern European state university, open to almost all branches of knowledge in:

  • Humanities
  • Basic Science and Technology
  • Health Sciences
  • Social Sciences
  • Education

It is located in Valencia, Spain's third city and 21 meetings of the EU population, founded in 138 a. C.

The UNIVERSITY has 3 urban campus has several buildings and special facilities:

  • Blasco Ibáñez (186,015 m2): Humanities, Health, Education.
  • Tarongers (119,670 m2): Social, Economic, Legal.
  • Burjassot-Paterna (142,135 m2): Basic Science, Technical, Engineering.

In the ranking of universities, the University of Valencia is the fourth Spanish university in research, the second in Europe in the reception of students, and the sixth in sending them.

III CONGRESO DE LA ACADEMIA DE VALORACIÓN DEL DAÑO CORPORAL DEL MERCOSUR. BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA)

The past 21st, 22nd and 23rd of September took place in Buenos Aires the III Congreso de Valoración del Daño Corporal del MERCOSUR, in which Dr. Francisco Toledo Castillo participated as a speaker.

The Mexican Association of Transport and Mobility (AMTM), conducted over the past 19, 20 and 21 May, the III Congreso Internacional del transporte held in Mexico City, attended by governors, secretaries of transportation, legislators, academic authorities and experts in transport and mobility issues.


EIGHTH EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL RAIL FORUM

The past 10, 11 and May 12 was held at IFEMA in Madrid, the eighth edition of the International Rail Forum, a trade-conference bringing together experts in the railway sector, where it became clear that rail continues to boom.

III JORNADAS DE SEGURIDAD VIAL DENTRO DE LA PRL. 10TH OF MARCH 2011

On March 10, was held in Madrid, in the National Institute of Hygienic and safety in Work, the III Jornadas de Seguridad Vial dentro de la Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, organised by INFORSE Group of the University of Valencia, with great acclaim.
